Yeo Valley Organic Garden Festival
I recently had the pleasure of attending the second year at the Yeo Valley Organic Garden Festival. Its such a special event which I’ve loved being a part of. The focus of the festival is to raise awareness of how gardening organically can have a positive impact on climate change. The emphasis of my exhibition was on the importance of Bees in our ecosystem.
As part of the festival I produced a number of original works specifcally for the show which some are also available as prints. You can see a selection of the works I had available for sale below. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more about the event.

This piece has been inspired by Broad bean flowers, purple alliums and Blue Angel alkanes found growing in the Veg Patch at the yes valley organic garden in early Summer. Visited by ginger, Carder Bees and Large White Butterflies. Carder bees are named after the action of ‘carding wool’ with metal combs to separate fibres which is what they do with moss and grass to create nests at ground level.
