Broad bean and Ginger Bees - Original
Original artwork created onto an oak stained, wooden panel and framed in natural ash with a waxed finish.
Dimensions: 110 × 75cm framed
This piece has been inspired by Broad bean flowers, purple alliums and Blue Angel alkanes found growing in the Veg Patch at the yes valley organic garden in early Summer. Visited by ginger, Carder Bees and Large White Butterflies. Carder bees are named after the action of ‘carding wool’ with metal combs to separate fibres which is what they do with moss and grass to create nests at ground level.
