MacMillan Wellbeing

Natasha Clutterbuck

Now, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about this mural project I completed back in March 2024. I was the commissioned artist for the new Macmillan Wellbeing Hub at the Dyson Cancer Centre which opened in May 2024. I spent the preceding year working alongside Art at the Heart RUH Bath on this project, consulting with patients and hospital staff and running drawing workshops to introduce my work. As a result of this I developed a series of designs that inspired the murals I created throughout the Macmillan well being hub.

I am completely honoured to have been asked to create my work in this important space where the architectural and interior design has been carefully considered to enable patients and staff to maintain a strong connection with nature, vital for the body and mind no matter what… I could not be more delighted with the outcome and the feedback I have received.

Many of my designs have been inspired by the beautiful Yeo Valley Organic Garden where putting nature first is at the very heart and is a huge inspiration for my work.
