WORKING FROM HOME 2021 - ‘MAGIC BEANS’

In 2021 I created a created a mural at home which is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I love vegetable inspired fairytales such as ‘Jack and the Bean Stalk’, The Enormous Turnip and Cinderella. Creating a magic beanstalk up the stairway seemed like the right thing to do. I also reproduced one of my originals as a roller blind making an interesting feature for our kitchen.

If you would like to discuss the possibilities of a vegetable inspired mural in your home get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.

2024 PRECIOUS POLLINATORS & THE FOREST GARDEN…….

Now, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about this mural project coming up in 2024. I am the commissioned artist for the new Macmillan Wellbeing Hub at the Dyson Cancer Centre set to open in Spring 2024. This year I have been working alongside Art at the Heart RUH Bath on this project, consulting with patients and hospital staff and running drawing workshops to introduce my work. As a result of this I have developed a series of designs that will inspire the murals I am set to create throughout the well being hub. I am completely honoured to have been asked to create my work in this important space where the architectural and interior design has been carefully considered to enable patients and staff to maintain a strong connection with nature, vital for the body and mind no matter what… I cannot wait to make a start.

Many of my designs have been inspired by the beautiful Yeo Valley Organic Garden where putting nature first is at the very heart and is a huge inspiration for my work.
